I’ve known Amanda for quite a while.
At one point she even worked with me at the club as a waitress, although we knew each other before that. Long before I ever photographed her, we had already talked several times about doing a shoot together.
The problem was never getting Amanda interested.
The problem was getting Amanda pinned down to a specific date.
Amanda deals with a chronic illness that can flare up without much warning, so trying to plan something weeks or months ahead with her can be difficult — if not impossible. We tried setting up that first shoot for a while before we finally made it happen.
I got lucky a couple of times last year.
The first time I photographed her, I didn’t even have the shootout group yet. By the second time, Amanda wanted to get some Christmas photos done, and by then I had started putting these shootouts together.
Recently she had been feeling pretty good for a stretch, so we moved quick on it.
We picked August 30, 2026, put the event together fairly fast, and I let everybody signing up know that Amanda’s health could always force us to change plans. For this particular shootout, I didn’t collect deposits because there was always a chance something could come up.
She checked in with me the night before.
She checked in again the morning of the shoot.
She was coming.
Amanda ended up getting there about 15 minutes late, which wasn’t a big deal. She got herself together and we started shooting.
Amanda knows how to pose.
You can put her in front of a camera and pretty much let her work. She moves well, changes things up on her own, and knows what looks good without needing somebody directing every little thing she does.
She was already comfortable with the group before she even walked in.
She jokes around, says whatever comes to mind, and doesn’t spend much time worrying about whether somebody else thinks it’s appropriate.
While she was getting ready, she picked up her curling iron, started making a stroking motion with it, and asked, “Doesn’t this almost look like a…”
She didn’t finish the sentence.
She didn’t need to.
A few minutes later she joked that she thought she had shown up for a gang bang.
So now you probably get a pretty good idea of the type of personality Amanda has. Somewhere in the manufacturing process, they forgot to install the filter between her brain and her mouth.
Once she finished getting ready, we brought her out to the first set and got started.
We moved through several different looks, and as the shoot went along, Amanda eventually ended up butt naked in front of the guys.
Bro…
She looked fine as fuck.
She photographs really well and knows how to carry herself in front of a camera.
One of the funniest moments happened when a couple of photographers were trying to get her attention from different directions. Amanda started crossing her eyes like she was trying to look at both of them at the same time.
That became a little running joke during the shoot.
Then there were the panties.
When Amanda took them off, I expected her to hand them to me so I could move them out of the way.
Instead, she flicked them right into my face.
That caught me completely off guard and everybody started laughing.
Once she saw how much of a reaction it got, she started doing it on purpose for the rest of the shoot.
The group portion of the shoot lasted about two hours.
A couple of the photographers had already signed up for additional one-on-one sessions with Amanda before the event started. Once the group portion wrapped up, they stayed behind and got some extra time shooting with her.
Afterward, several of us headed down the street to Twin Peaks for dinner, which has become a tradition after these shootouts, and Amanda came along. We were all pretty hungry afterward, and it gave everybody a chance to unwind, crack some jokes, and the guys got to know Amanda a little better away from the cameras, the studio and the sets.
Getting Amanda into one of these shootouts took a while.
Hell, just getting her in the studio on a specific date has always taken a little luck.
But every time I’ve managed to get her in front of my camera, she’s been worth it.
She’s sexy, she knows how to pose, and she makes the whole thing a lot more fun.
Hopefully her health keeps cooperating, because I’d definitely like to work with her again on future projects.
